Education/Outreach Programs

College Street Elementary School Afterschool Journey Program

Spanning from 2nd to 5th grade, CSES students have been connecting with nature in a fun and meaningful way. We mix science with creativity - turning lessons in environment, conservation, and agriculture into hands-on projects and games. Students learn the importance of natural resources and are encouraged to explore, imagine, and protect the world around them.

Kingwood Arms Nature Club

At Kingwood Arms, conservation thrives through community. The Nature Club brings together people who love learning about the environment and finding simple ways to make a difference. From pollinator gardens to wildlife-friendly practices, this group works together to bring sustainable practices to life and inspire others to join in.

Hands On Science Center: Homeschool Science and Science Camps

Some of the most curious minds can be found at Hands On Science Center. Learning and play go hand in hand here, making education fun and memorable! Coffee County SWCD brings another aspect of environmental science, teaching kids about conservation and natural resources along with the benefits they provide.
